Ever read your client’s medical records and come across something bizarre like “Schepplemann’s Sign” or “The Ciliopupillary Reflex”? Do you skip over it, or do you learn what the sign or test means and what the doctor was looking for?
If you do want to learn more, I always recommend a simple Google search for medical terminology you are unfamiliar with. Great stuff there. I also like this site, which discusses a ton of those tests. Good resource.
